A Little Break
The weather is giving us a little break with watering around here - it's been pouring off and on all afternoon. There was even some lightning! This is amazing for October, which is usually full of the infamous Santa Ana winds and brush fires. Since we're in a drought, any water is quite welcome, though there is the downside of mudslides and the fact that people in Southern California have no clue how to drive in the rain.
I haven't blogged recently because I've had a huge drop in free time. I'm getting really behind on my school work, and when I do make it out to the garden, it's to give the plants some water (before the sky opened up) and check that they're still alive (they are).
Hopefully I'll have more to talk about (and show) next time, and hopefully next time isn't too far away.

A Call for Help
Help?
Does anyone have pictures of what they know to be an English Lavender seedling? I know that some weeds were in the soil that I planted my lavender seeds in, and I'm not entirely sure which is which at this point.
Oh, same question applies to Sacred Fig seedlings.
